The best local teen poets and spoken word artists, winners of the semi-finals held over the past few weeks, compete for one of six coveted spots and the opportunity to represent Ann Arbor at the 2017 Brave New Voices International Youth Poetry Slam Festival in San Francisco this summer. Come early as this is usually a standing room only crowd!
Admission open to the public; $5 for students /$10 for general public.
Semi-Final #1 – Monday, March 20 @ Community High School. Admission free; open to the public. 7 p.m. at Community High School’s Craft Theater, 401 N. Division Street, Ann Arbor.
Semi-Final #2 – Wednesday, March 22 @ Pioneer High School. Admission free; open to the public. 7 p.m. at Pioneer High School’s Little Theater, 601 W. Stadium Blvd., Ann Arbor.
