Implementing Restorative Practices: A Systematic Approach for Schools and Districts (VIRTUAL)

This course is designed to support educational leaders in starting to implement restorative practices school- or district-wide with more intentionality and depth. Whether you need dedicated time and space to think through implementation or are in a position to put your plan in motion come fall, this training is for you. Teams of 2-4 people from a building or district are highly encouraged so that you can collaborate as a group.

Training Details

Through this course, participants will:

  • Develop a “why” for school transformation guided by RP

  • Understand the components of Implementation Science as a framework for implementing school-wide RP transformation 

  • Begin designing an implementation team for RP transformation

  • Analyze current readiness, opportunities, and challenges for implementing RP transformation

  • Consider strategies for making RP transformation an easier lift 

  • Make a plan to start the process

This training is hosted virtually and conducted synchronously.

Participants are expected to have had introductory Restorative Practices (RP) training prior to attending the training.
